Welcome to the
UTD Biomedical Microdevices and Nanotechnology Lab
Developing sensors for a new tomorrow
Overview & Facilities
The UTD Biomedical Microdevices and Nanotechnology Laboratory was founded by Dr. Shalini Prasad to develop a variety of biosensors and bioelectronic solutions. The lab's current research ranges from more traditional medical research to environmental sensing applications. With the help of our truly passionate students and staff, Dr. Prasad has helped students develop academically and personally to the highest level.
The laboratory is located in BSB on the north side of campus. We invite you to explore our website, read our publications, and learn about our members. Get in touch with us today to learn more about getting involved or to ask any questions.
