Review paper on RTIL and its application:
Room temperature Ionic Liquid? (RTIL) is a fascinating species having unique physico-chemical property. The electrochemical property of RTIL is useful to utilize it in electrochemical sensing. The electrochemical property, transduction principle and its application in gas sensing has been reviewed comprehensively and that is my first work from this lab. Here is the citation detail of that work:

RTIL based electrochemical sensor of 1-phenyl-pipyridine:
1-phenyl-pyridine is the main backbone of synthetic opioid like fentanyl but it also presents in non-harmful substances like norfentanyl which is an analogue of fentanyl but the potent efficacy is much more lesser than fentanyl. RTIL has been explored for the first time to distinguish these two compounds who shares the same organic backbone having different functionalization. We have achieved a significant low-level detection in ppm level of fentanyl where we had able to separate it from a non-opioid mixture of norfentanyl. This is my second work in this lab. Here is the citation detail of that work.
